Returns and Warranty

All the items we sell on our website are backed by the manufacturers warranty to be free from defects in materials or workmanship. The length of the warranty varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but is generally at least 12 months from date of purchase.

Please ensure that you complete and return the manufacturers warranty card. Under the warranty you will be responsible for returning the goods to the manufacturer in order to make a warranty claim. The manufacturer will inspect the goods and at their discretion either replace or repair the item according to the terms of their warranty. If no fault is found some manufacturers may charge an inspection fee.

In general the warranty will not cover cosmetic damage, consumables such as fuses, accidental damage, flood, fire or other acts of nature, misuse, damage caused by your actions, or any damage as a result of modification, tampering or alteration. Please note this is not an exhaustive list of exclusions, please refer to the terms and conditions of the manufacturers warranty for the product in question.

Voiding your warranty. Please do not void your warranty by attempting to repair any item yourself or by sending it to anyone else for repair before claiming under the warranty. If you do this you will no longer be able to claim. Failures arising from normal wear and tear, negligence, incorrect storage or installation etc will also not be covered by your warranty. In the event of a warranty claim being rejected by the manufacturer, they may also charge an inspection fee which must be paid before the item can be returned to you.

Claiming under your warranty. In the unlikely event that an item should fail during it's warranty period due to defective materials or workmanship, please contact us and we will arrange for a Goods Return Note to be raised with the manufacturer. When you have received your returns paperwork, please ensure that the items are securely packaged to prevent any damage occurring during transit. Do not send items without the correct documentation, if you do your claim may be delayed.

Good purchased in error. Unless the item has been custom built to your specification, you can return it to us for a refund within 14 days of it's dispatch date. Items must be remain sealed and complete in their original manufacturers packaging, and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee. If you need to return an item to us please contact us first. Note, in general all the motors we supply are custom built to your specification and are not eligible for return and refund.
